I just finished the latest build of Space Capitalism Simulator. I’m really happy with the way things are shaping up. I focused on improving the user experience with a lot of small but cumulative changes. Mostly to make things easier and sometimes more apparent to players.

Miyamoto’s design of the first level in the original Mario is something I aspire to when focusing on an intro. It teaches you how to play without explicitly telling you how to play. It lets anyone jump in immediately. This is much easier said than done, especially in VR!
Here are some of the changes:
- Decreased difficulty of first rooms.
- Adjusted weight of all objects.
- Added security cameras.
- Added static lasers.
- Added a fade out/in on death.
- Added some out of bounds death zones.
- Fixed a bug that stopped teleportation when holding an item.
- Fixed second gold door.
